Farafina Trust literary evening!

It’s been a busy week for participants at the annual Farafina Trust creative writing workshop. From writing exercises to reading sessions to literary criticism and generally learning how the writing process works, the participants have been drilled all the way.  One of the workshop facilitators, Molara Wood blogs about her experience here.

Farafina Trust, a non-profit organization established to promote reading and writing organises the creative writing workshop every year for aspiring writers(more about Farafina Trust here)

  2. Dear Farafinists,
I am not and have never been a Farafina workshop facilitator. I merely visited a writer friend, Lauri Kubuitsile there last night and fraternised with all the participants. Another thing: I’m quite baffled Odia Ofeimun would be described on the Literary Evening programme as a ‘New Nigerian Writer’. People of my generation studied the man in school.
